We welcome kids of all ages aboard Riki, and they absolutely love it too, in fact most don't want to go home at the end of the cruise!

A favourite trick is to dive in from the stern and race one another to the boarding ladder, only to climb back aboard and do it all again. We also rig up a pirate rope swing which can make a big splash as you land in the sea.

Riki is a very safe and stable yacht she has a confined helm area covered from the sun which makes an ideal area for kids to play safely. When we have younger crew sailing with us the whole of the fore deck is netted around the edge so kids are kept safe, and the ships rule says one adult supervises children on deck at all times.

Our son Joshua learned to walk on board sailing with us last year he had his sea legs before his land ones! We have a child seat (Britax) which secures in position in the helm house and below in the saloon and carry life jackets for infants and children too.
